I like how this shows you can do something other than the normally expected RPG Maker type game. It is an interesting concept. I will say Trihan made it look much easier than it is. Apparently, my reflexes aren't that good. I might have set a record for blowing up! But I like the concept and the implementation. There were some interesting mechanics that I will think more about. Great job!
This game is pretty creative and I wish it weren't so limited by RPGMaker's clunky movement. I think you executed your design really well, it's a just a little too unforgiving with the clunky movement (You aren't lying about not flying too low! LOL) and dying and having to start over sucks but I get it, maybe more lives or a continue from the new level would've been nice. I also wish I would have made it to the ending on this one, it gets pretty tricky! Seems like this was really hard to event/program together. Very impressive! The art and the writing are charming. It's a lot of fun, very unique, and it definitely has the Christmas vibe going strong. Wonderful Job!
You're not the first one to report about the challenge ;) Wasn't that hard to develop, I built the game itself in less than 3 days. It's the silly cut scenes that actually took me the most time to do, lol.
I'll think about uploading a new version that would allow to skip to final scene from game over scene.
This was quite creative for an RPG Maker game. The sprite animations are absolutely wonderful and the graphics overall are really well done.
The biggest problem with this game for me was player inconvenience. The game is pretty challenging and it's very retro, as in you have 3 "continues" to complete the game. When they run out, that's it... it's game over. And you have to start all the way back at level 1.
The gameplay mechanics were wonderfully implemented. The gameplay does tend to get repetitive pretty fast. I wish I could have gotten through all the levels to see the ending. Hopefully someone with better reflexes than me can get there.
Hey, thanks a lot for trying the game, and for your comments. :) Sorry for the challenge, it's actually designed to looks annoying with so much going on screen. But most is only window dressing to distract player. If you stay on the middle of the screen and keep focus on dumping presents, and only try to catch presents if absolutely needed, it's quite feasible. Also, I guess I'm getting old, so it's hard to get the 'retro' out of me, lol.

I find this to be challenging tbh, getting those gifts inside the chimneys esp. when I try to get high to get the gifts as well, but it was very fun getting through it after 12000 tries xDD (Don't mind me, I have terrible reflex) But yes, a very fun entry and the pixel arts are nice. Very unique challenges for a Christmas adventure. Great job <3
